After my baneful but “touted to be very beneficial” chemo, this imperfect combination gave me one more pain.
This time, a trip to 3 places:
- Urgent Care in Mt. P
- MidMichigan ER in Mt.P
- Henry Ford in Detroit
Trip #1, resulted to a closed door. The doctor would not touch my case. Fine.
Trip #2, resulted to an open and friendly door that kept us there from 11AM to 8PM or 9 hours.
Trip #3 by MMR Ambulance, resulted to an overnight admission (very, very friendly) and so far I’m still here and it’s 920AM or getting to 24 hours.
Here’s why I went for these wonderful trips: I woke up with a swollen right cheek on Friday, it was warm to the touch and I was feverish some. I don’t know why I have this, never had one before. Michael wisely urged a trip to an ER and he was right.
Result: Cellulitis and dental woes which need urgent attention. They gave me antibiotics, did Blood Tests and CT Scan at MMC but I also need an oral surgeon which Mt. P., Alma, Lansing and Grand Rapids do not have on duty now. HF in Detroit has and will take me in. So they called MMR to get me there. Boy, did I feel so special!
The Oral surgeon gave all the necessary treatments and left room for the dentist to work on. I knew this. I just didn’t know when.
Once again, God orchestrated my every move for a healing journey that keeps twisting and turning.
I love it that God is always on time, always in step and always playing it all out in nothing less than perfection.
