Yesterday, Nov. 9, 2021, I saw Dr. Tannu Sahay, my oncologist. It’s been 2 months since our last visit.
I was not terrified at all. I was, in fact, totally open-minded to her perspective. I believe, to this day, God sent her to be a part of my healing journey. I respect her expertise. I may not agree 100% with her opinions but I’m 100% attentive.
She peeked through the door in a playful manner. “Hi, Maria, How are you?” She sounded genuinely curious of my whereabouts. I was blown away by her relaxed attitude, sincere interest and candor.
And then the conversations ensued. She was happy with the results I got from the many lab tests. They were excellent results! We agreed that my numbers need to be monitored. In fact, she scheduled me for a PET Scan next week with another visit 2 days after.
I like it that there was absence of scolding, negativity or bad news. What a wonderful blessing!
As for me, I will continue to walk in wisdom, doing healing therapies that enhances my day to day overall wellness.
I will also be “…living soberly, righteously and godly…” as the Bible says in Titus 2:12.
Meantime, while Autumn is here, I will keep ambling.
